Endometriosis after hysterectomy
by Linda Trigg
(United Kingdom)
I suffered from painful periods with endometriosis so as I was sterilised. I got offered a hysterectomy where my ovaries were left behind.
Ten years later I started having periods symptoms with some blood loss. It was then decided after courses of tablets to remove ovaries which turned into major op as they were stuck to my bowel and bladder.
After many operations I was diagnosed with endometriosis (it took 4 years ). I then had major operation to remove a mass of adhesions stuck to bowel, bladder and stomach. I'm still suffering, and have been for 8 years.
