Natural healing with endometriosis diet success –
A wonderful story

One woman's story of achieving pregnancy and healing despite severe endometriosis

I was recently sent this story by Christine, who wanted to share her success with others to give them hope. Her story is about natural healing and pregnancy after following the endometriosis diet and using various natural treatments to deal with here severe case of endometriosis. I hope this story gives you hope and confidence as well.

My endometriosis story

I'd like to give my thanks to Carolyn and share my story...

I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks pregnant, with symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy (although I didn't know this at the time). After an ultrasound I was told that I had two 7cm irregular shaped masses around my right ovary.

They ruled out it being an ectopic at the time because of the size of the masses. I was then booked in for a diagnostic laparoscopy. After the operation I was told that I had severe endometriosis, with extensive adhesions.

My ovaries and the cysts were stuck behind my uterus and completely out of sight. I was shown photographs of the endometriosis cells on my bladder, that would bleed each month. I was shocked at first, but then made the decision that I was going to get well. I was 36 and wanted to have children, so I had to! I was booked in for another laparoscopy for four months’ time, to take away the cysts and adhesions.

So in the meantime I read the book from Carolyn at Endo-Resolved and took all the advice on offer. I followed the diet (although slipped up at Christmas!)

I had acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, took an herbal tincture every day, went to yoga, and took enzyme supplements that are meant to dissolve cysts and adhesions.

After the second operation I was eager to hear about these massive cysts that I'd had and that they'd been taken away. The surgeon was being a bit evasive and unclear about what they'd done, but apparently there was one 1cm cyst on my left ovary and they cleared my right tube of what had been an ectopic after all.

No big cysts! They took away all the adhesions and unstuck my tubes, which were stuck together like spaghetti. I was told to go straight to hospital if I fell pregnant again, as I had scarring in both tubes from the endometriosis and was likely to have another ectopic.

I carried on with the diet and going to acupuncture. 6 weeks after the operation I fell pregnant and it's not ectopic! I'm 5 months pregnant now and all is well.

During the consultation after the operation the surgeon said that I must have been mis-diagnosed. There weren't any live cells anywhere to laser away, This was confusing as I'd been shown pictures of them from the previous operation.

Also, where had the adhesions come from? What had caused the scarring in both tubes and the ectopic? I'm not convinced by that. I'd tried to discuss with the surgeon previously, the benefits of diet and natural remedies to help the condition.

This was dismissed immediately as nonsense and was told 'eat what you like'. Don't be put off by this! People in mainstream medicine are exactly that - people. They have their own conditioning as we all do.

I think that natural healing and mainstream medicine can work together. No one is powerless over their own health! Thanks again to Carolyn, her book has been an inspiration and become a positive way of life, not just a diet to treat an illness!
