This is a yummy, no cook recipe that should please the whole family. There are some days when you just want a treat and with endometriosis you need to keep away from sugar because it can increase inflammation. This strawberry tart recipe is safe and will not upset your system and make your symptoms of endo worse.
Strawberry Tart

Makes one 9 inch pie
This is a non-baked pie which is quick and simple
Nutty Date Crust:
Filling:
1 Process all nuts in a food processor, until it turns into a thick paste.
Add dates and keep blending for a while. Add orange juice to the mix and blend.
2 Spread mixture into a pie pan (glass preferable) evenly to form a ‘crust’ using your hands to press it down, and immediately set aside to chill.
3 Toss the strawberries with the maple syrup. Spoon into the pie crust. Cover with waxed paper & refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
Serve this chilled with some nut yoghurt or some home-made strawberry ice-cream
